What does a typical physical therapy appointment entail?
Depending on your condition you will start on the table with a physical therapist with E-stem, ultrasound, cold laser, and soft tissue. After treatment you will start your therapeutic exercises/mobility exercises. The visit always ends with stretching and local CRYO!
What is an evaluation for physical therapy?
An evaluation is a detailed visit with your physical therapist to determine a plan of care to get you back on the MOVE. Often this will include a conversation about your condition, symptoms, and goals. This visit will also include some testing with our DYNAMO & or Vald platforms to see weaknesses and help to guide us to the amazing results of what is needed for your therapeutic exercises. Your therapist will do some modalities and then you will do some exercises and stretches. At the end of the visit, we will do local CRYO!

Can I avoid surgery if I do physical therapy?
Physical therapy for some conditions has been found to be as effective as surgery. Consider physical therapy before undergoing expensive and invasive surgeries. With a good plan of care, we have seen amazing results!

Do I need a referral to start physical therapy?
No, you do not need a referral to begin physical therapy at MOVE Performance. You can book an appointment directly and our team will guide you through the process.
What insurance do you take?
We are in network with BCBS, Cigna, Medicare, Workers Compensation, Aetna, Tricare, SANA, Arizona Foundation, Health Comp, PHCS
Do you offer self-pay if you don’t take my insurance?
Yes, we do. Contact us regarding the price.
Do you take HSA or FSA?
Yes, we take FSA for therapy. HSA will cover all services provided at MOVE
Do you only train athletes?
No, MOVE it’s a lifestyle.
